Summary:
We at Bath & Beauty Auctions are asking you to help us with our efforts in pushing for a safer cosmetic industry. We are in the fight working to protect your health by calling for the elimination of chemicals used in cosmetics linked to cancer; birth defects and other health problems. When it comes to cosmetics, reliance on the FDA is misplaced. There is a long list of substances banned from use due to their being known or suspected carcinogens, endocrine disruptors and toxins. Consumers need to be made aware of this growing problem as new product lines come to market almost on a daily bases.
Our Activities:
Our Project is focusing on specific actions and activities to fight this growing problem;
1. Public awareness, Newsletters, Commercials, Public Announcements and Forums.
2. Push our law makers for better cosmetic industry regulation.
3. Lobby them to pass laws for "Ingredient lists" on ALL cosmetics & toiletry items.
